Prologue

Shneeve suffers from a disorder characterized by the presence of two or more personality states. Shneeve: nonchalant, intact sanity, family oriented, pet lover, and good friend. Her other personality is Maddie: short-tempered, has negative outlook on life, not a family person and is very distant from everyone. Her family first started to notice a change in personality, five years ago, following a very severe car accident.

At the age of seventeen she was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit following a crash involving her and her family. She was the only one affected with life threatening injuries such as severe brain trauma, and compound fractures. The affects of the accident left her with an undiscovered personality trait causing her to want revenge on her family for not being affected.

March 4, 1958

I was taken away on my eighteenth birthday. Someone turned me in after hearing the screams of my family. I did not mean to hurt them i swear, Maddie told me to. I'm on my way to the Beacon Hills Pyschward now. I want to get Maddie out of my head. They said they could help me, but i am not sure.

After two hours the van came to a stop. When doors opened there is nothing but trees and fog surrounding me. The two guards leading me up the seemingly never ending path toward the Psychward. Walking in, goosebumps instantly rose on my body from the eerines of the building. Raising my head i come face to face with the one they call my therapist, Jose. giving me his hand he says, " This is where you'll be staying, follow me."

Following Jose, he leads me to what they refer to as the commons. No matter which way you looked everything was gray, lifeless, and dull. Leaving the commons, we made our way to my room. Walking down the halls i noticed everything was still the same gray color as before not a single thing hanging on the painted cement blocks. Stopped at the door to my room I hesitated before going in. All four walls are padded, the only other color i've seen so far now is white.
