Joseph Smith was the leader of the Mormon church. He was a very good leader.

Joseph Smith died from a mob of unhappy people who disagreed with the Mormons. Brigham Young took over as the leader when he died.

First the Mormons moved to Louisiana to be safe.

Then they moved to Salt Lake City Utah. No one else moved there because the land was hard to grow crops on.
