I dedicate this book to my sister because when I was starting this book she put up a husky and the title I am now using. She did it to be to be annoying, but unfortunately for her I did not take it that way. That title gave me the inspiring idea to make this book what it is.
A long time ago an underwater city thrived deep beneath the sea. It was a beautiful place, but the only reason that it was not flooded with water was because of a magical dome that kept the water out. Unfortunately only the mermaids could produce such rare magic.
This is where the mermaids lived.
Every year the city had to give ten crystals in trade for the dome's restoration. That is why the mermaids homes are made from crystal.
Then one year a serious problem came up. They only had nine crystals because they ran out of them in their mines. As soon as the mermaids heard this they felt sorry for the people in the town. They decided to give the people one day to recover the tenth crystal. As soon as the city heard they went frantic because it was still not enough time!
