Dedicated to Ms. Faust, who I hope enjoys this story and is willing to give me an A.

One day, deep in the forest, a lumberjack was in his log cabin. It was early in the morning and he was making pancakes with real maple syrup that he had collected from the trees. As he ate, he wondered which section of trees he would chop down today for lumber. He loved the smell of the forest on a hot summer day. With a swing of his ax, the lumberjack chopped down a large tree. He then began to chop it up and bring it back to his house.
As the lumberjack returned with his wood, he noticed a strange man in the distance. The figure began to come closer. The man then began to yell out "hey you!" The man then began to run over saying "is this your land?" The lumberjack nodded in agreement and asked what the man wanted. The man then said "I would love to buy your land, it has the perfect amount of trees for my business.
The lumberjack then asked the man what kind of business he owned. The man then said, "I work in the lumber business." The lumberjack was pleased to meet another person who loves trees as much as he does. Unfortunately, the lumberjack could not see the trouble that was to come in the near future because of this man. After talking for a little while, the lumberjack then invited the man to his log cabin.
Once they got back to the log cabin, the man began to talk about a deal that he wanted to make with the lumberjack. He offered the lumberjack 1 million dollars to buy the land and said they he'd be willing to let the lumberjack stay in his log cabin. The lumberjack then agreed to the deal and the man went on his way. As the man walked away, he called up his business partner and said, "everything is going according to plan, the land is ours."
A week had gone by, and the lumberjack went on with his daily routine. One day has he was chopping wood, then he noticed a large and yellow machine moving in the distance. He heard the loud noises of trees falling to the ground. The lumberjack ran as fast as he could toward the big yellow machine. When he approached, he noticed that the man that he made the deal with was driving the machine. The lumberjack had then realized that he had made a mistake.
"You'll never stop me hahahaha", said the man in an evil laugh. "What are you doing?" said the lumberjack. "I'm going to clear cut this land and use all the timber for money", said the man. Both men starred at each other and wondered what the other would do next. Knowing that he had little chance to stop the man, the lumberjack feared for what was to come next.
