Hi, My name is Amanda.

I am 8 years old.

I am in 3rd grade, but since I'm at the doctors all the time mommy teaches me at home.

I was born with congestive heart failure and a heart murmur and 3 holes in my heart.

Mommy says that when I was still a baby, I had surgery called open heart surgery.

I have to go to Dr. Lisa every month to have a check up.

When I'm not at the doctors I love spending time with my family. My family is my mom, my dad, my older sister, my younger brother, & my dog Cali.

Mommy says everything will be okay but she always seems very sad and when mommy is sad, I'm sad.
