The art students at Normal West High School dedicate this book to our sister cities in Caibarien and Remedios, Cuba. We want to share our life in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois with you.

My name is Rover. I am a dog with a black spot on my back and tail. I live in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. I want to share with you some of the special places in my town. The Constitutional Trail goes for miles throughout town.
The Trail takes us to Uptown Circle. It has a waterway with an island in the middle. People gather there to visit. I curl up and take a nap after our walk.
The Cornbelters is our baseball team. Their team colors are yellow and green. Someday these players hope to become professional baseball players.
A great way to cool off in the summer is at our pools. We have waterslides and diving boards to make it a fun adventure.
McLean County Art Center and Inside Out Accessible Art Gallery offers art classes and has art work on display.
The Center for the Performing Arts has performances such as plays, musicals, dance, and concerts.
At the skateparks people go up the ramps and into the air on their skateboards.
Rader’s Farm is a place we go in the fall to buy pumpkins. They are known for their pumpkin donuts. They have a corn maze, face painting and a giant trampoline to bounce on.
