There once was a little grey kitten, with no owner.

She wandered around every night, trying to find somewhere to sleep, and something to eat, and somewhere to belong.

One night, she found a cafe.

She crept in, hoping to find some leftover food.

She found a half eaten pie that had fallen off a table, and started to nibble it.

Then the owner of the cafe, named Sarah, saw her. "Hello there!" Sarah said. "I'm sorry, but animals aren't allowed in this cafe!"

Sorry! No pets!

Sarah picked up the little kitty and put her out onto the street.

Feeling sad, the little kitty wandered back out into the street.

I don't belong anywhere she thought.

A little while later, Sarah came out of the cafe. "Wait, little kitty!" she called.
