Selfish Sandy

Sandy Morris was Kindergartner. She loved school and had lots of friends. But there was one problem. Sandy was selfish!

Sandy had a brand new box of crayons. She got them on one of her trips to her grandma's house. She love her crayons and wanted to make sure they remained nice and sharp. So when her friends asked to borrow one she said...

NO!

One day at school, Sandy decided to make her grandma a beautiful card. She pulled out her crayons from her backpack, but she was moving so quickly that they all fell to the floor.

Since she never let anyone use them, no one wanted to help her pick them up. Except for Jennifer.

"I'll help you!"  "I see some underneath Mrs. James's desk." She crawled on her knees to get the crayons.

"Thanks!

"You're welcome!"

"I'm working on a picture for my grandma too! But I don't have any crayons. Can we share yours?!"

Jennifer was sweet. And it was nice of her to help pick up the crayons. But Sandy didn't want her crayons to come up missing or broken. So she said...

NO!

That made Jennifer sad, but she was able to make a drawing for grandma using Mrs. James's crayons. So it all worked out! Sandy got to keep her crayons and Jennifer got to complete her drawing, WITHOUT using Sandy's crayons!

Sandy was able to keep all 64 of her crayons for a very long time. She figured, if she did all of her things this way, she could keep them as well.  So Sandy decided to never share anything with anyone EVER!
