Packing luggages for travel is one of the most annoying parts of traveling. Let's have a good start by packing stress-free!
Say no to last-minute packing!
Packing at the last minute can be very stressful. Let's not procrastinate! Make sure you pack at least a day beforehand, so you have the time to run to a store in case you need something else.
Make Two Lists
One list is for things that can be packed days beforehand (e.g. clothing, books, passports, shoes, etc.), while the other list is for the things that need to be packed right before leaving (e.g. cellphone charger, keys, etc.)
The Less the Better
If the trip is up to 5 days or a week, take a carry-on luggage only. Carrying around a large luggage will be tiring. You'll be surprised by how much it would help you! If you happen to need more clothing while traveling, then simply buy them. It often ends up cheaper to travel with less things and buying them along the way, than to carry them all around.
Bag Inside Bag
Take a backpack or a travel bag inside your carry-on. It will help you when there's just not enough space, or when you want to keep some things with you while leaving the luggage unattended.

Don't FULLY Pack Your Luggage
Don't start your trip with a fully packed suitcase. If you do, you won't have any space for souvenirs and extra stuff on the way back.
Three Pair Rule
No matter how many days you travel, take 3 sets of underwear and socks. Before you go to sleep in your hotel, wash them by hand and dry them overnight. Also humidifies the room a little bit.
Konmari Folding Method
Use Konmari (Japanese) style folding method. That way your luggage stays organized and it's easy to see what's inside.
