Napi and the Dog

One night Napi was walking along when he began to hear dogs howling, barking, and carrying on in celebration.

Napi called out to the Dogs and asked what it was they were doing. Dog replied by telling Napi "that they were feasting".

Napi asked if they had any food. Dog said "Yes, come in Napi and we will feed you". Napi went into the Tipi and had noticed all the dogs did not have any tails. Napi asked, why is it you have no tail, where are your tails?
