Yoshi was going to the park one day with his friend Ice Cube.

"I love going to the park!" exclaimed Yoshi.

"Me too!" said Ice Cube.

But as soon as they got to the park, they were in for a big surprise.

When they got to the park, they saw that the playground area was closed because they were filming an episode of Barney there.

"Can I be in the show?" asked Ice Cube?

"Me too!" said Yoshi.

The cameraman just shook his head and said, "Sorry kids, not everybody could be on the show."

"But-" Yoshi said, but the busy cameraman just motioned for everybody to get into their places to start filming.

3, 2, 1, action!

Yoshi and Ice Cube were upset.

" Ohhh! I want to be in that show!" moped Yoshi, who was watching the show film from behind.

"Yeah!" said Ice Cube, kicking the dirt under his shoes.

When it was break time for the cast and crew, Yoshi and Ice Cube walked around for a bit, wishing that they could be on TV too.

As they walked, they came to a section of the park where the cast and crew were having break time. There were juice boxes for the kids in the show and tea for the crew.

"I wish I had a juice box now," sighed Ice Cube, "I'm really thirsty."

Yoshi and Ice Cube didn't want to play at the park anymore, so they just went home. They didn't talk much on the way back, though.

At dinnertime, Yoshi didn't feel like eating much.

"What's wrong?" asked his parents.

And then, Yoshi told the story of how he and Ice Cube went to the park and saw the filming of the show. He also told them how the cameraman turned down their request of being on the show. Lastly, he told them how he was very jealous of the people who got to be in the show.

After Yoshi explained his problems, his parents took him up to his room and explained that instead of being jealous that you can't be in the show, just show your respect instead and be happy for the cast and crew that worked hard to produce it. Yoshi was still a bit upset, but still agreed with what his parents had said.
