My mother was born on April 6, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was one of four children, with two older sisters and one younger brother.

My mother grew up in Burleson, Texas with her mother, father, and three siblings. Her father owned a local insurance agency and her mother was a homemaker.

One of her fondest childhood memories is of her and her siblings going down to the creek behind their house to hunt for crawdads and play in the water. They would spend most of their summer nights at the creek exploring and having fun.

My mother got married to my father at the age of 18 and they had three kids together; two sons and one daughter (me).

My mother takes her role as a parent very seriously and goes above and beyond every day to ensure that my brothers and I are happy and well taken care of.

My mother is the most selfless person I know and constantly goes out of her way to help those in need. Her love and compassion for others has set a great example for myself and others to follow over the years.
