Today my oldest daughter, Brooke, turns sixteen. I have been awaiting this moment since the day I brought her home. As she comes down the stairs I am amazed at what a beautiful young lady I have raised. It's hard to believe it has been sixteen years.

For her sixteenth birthday she is excited to find her new car in our driveway! Before school we go to the DPS to get her drivers license so she can drive on her own.

Brooke receives her license and drives herself to school, while I decorate the house for her birthday party.

Now that I have finished the decorations, I need to start making her birthday cake. I hope she likes the decorations!

After making the cake, I make sure everything is ready for the party. It's almost time for Brooke to come home from school, I better hurry!

Since Brooke's dad and younger brother arrived home, we are just waiting on Brooke. Her guests are already hiding in the kitchen waiting for her arrival.

Brooke is finally here! I hope she likes everything, because this is a very special day.

She is thrilled! Seeing her makes me realize that she is growing up way to fast!

As I walk my daughter to her room I want to make sure she has had an amazing day. I tell Brooke how much I love her and that no matter how old she gets, she will always be my little girl!

My husband and I talk how time flies and that we still can't believe our baby is all grown up.
