Today I am going on an airplane for the first time. It’s okay to be a little nervous, but I will be safe with Mommy and Daddy on the plane. 

Before going to the airport, I will pack my backpack that will have all of my toys and comics, so I can play with them whenever I need too.

Mommy and Daddy are going to pack the car with our luggage. Then Daddy is driving us all to the airport!

We will walk into the airport which will be loud and have lots of people moving. To stay safe I will always hold Mommy’s hand and if the noise gets too loud, I can wear my cool quiet headphones!

We will go to the airplane counter and stand in line to check-in to say we are here. Like in school when my teacher takes attendance!

 I will then meet a nice secuirty guard and walk through a big X-ray! I will have a calm body and calm hands while walking in the line. It is okay because Mommy and Daddy have to do it too.

When it is my turn I have to...

Step 1: Take my shoes off

Step 2: Follow Mommy in the line

Step 3: Walk through the X-ray

Step 4: Mommy will be waiting for me and have my backpack with all of my favorite toys!

There will be a lot of people when we find the gate, so I will hold Mommy’s hand again. If the noise gets too loud, I can wear my headphones!
