The Tea Act was a cause of The Tea Party. Its main purpose was to raise revenue for to bail out an East India Commpany. the company was a key part of the in the British economy. The government granted the request to transport the tea, which is where The Boston Tea Party happened.
The Tea Party was a cause of The American Revolution. It was a time in American History when the British fought the Colonists. They got mad because of many reasons, but the main one was when the British made the ocean look like tea. The British spilt over 300 crates of tea into the ocean, which probably made it turn brown and angered them. Which made the colonists mad.
The intolerable act were bad laws passed by the British parliament in 1774. It was also called the Coercive acts were meant to punish the American colonists for the Boston Tea Party and other riots.
The British were also making the colonists pay taxes on just about everything. Taxes goes back to the government in order to pay for the French and Indian War. The colonists did not like this and they got even more angry.
John locke was one of the most famous people engaged in philosophy. John Locke was known for his early point of view on political ideas and his impact on early America. He uses an idea of natural rights to argue that governments have legal rights to their people, have only few powers over them. The people can take over the government. This was one of the main causes of war.
