Melanoma is one of the most common and most dangerous types of skin cancer. There are over 200,000 cases of Melanoma each year!

What happens to the cells? You might wonder what happens to the melanoma cells, the Melanoma cells violently attack the tissues surrounding it.
What parts of the body does Melanoma effect?
In the early stages Melanoma effects the skin, Later on if not treated it can spread into your organs such as lungs, liver, brain and even bones!

Are there environmental factors that can cause the cancers? Environmental factors can cause the cancer, as a matter fact the cancer is caused by getting to much UV rays from the sun
Can the cancer be inherited?
Families with certain types of genes can increase the chance of them getting Melanoma

Can you prevent Melanoma? There is no way of preventing Melanoma but you can completely reduce your chances of getting it. When you go outside it is healthier to go out when the sun is rising or setting. If you are out during 10am to 4pm, without sunscreen, It can raise the bar.
How is the cancer treated? When melanoma cells are noticed on the skin they try to tread it with radiation therapy or surgically remove it. There still is no successful cure.

How are the cancers diagnosed? The skin cancer Melanoma can be spotted on your skin with types of bumps. If anything looks suspicious they will do CT scans.
What type of people are more likely do get Melanoma? Melanoma ranges from different age groups and skin color. Most people with Melanoma are usually 60 years of old and older.
Also people whom are more likely to use sunscreen are less likely to carry the disease.
