Little Joey loved Christmas and opening presents.

Mom and Dad hid his special present from him, and he wanted to find it.

He snuck outside to start looking.

Joey looked in the barn where he found a chicken.

"Have you seen my present?" He asked the chicken.

"Nope, Cluck Cluck Cluck." replied the chicken.

Joey looked under his parents' bed and found a mouse.

"Have you seen my present?"

"Squeek Squeek, Nope," replied the Mouse.

Joey went into the basement and found an old scary spider.

"Have you seen my present?"

"Nope, Click Click Click." Said the spider, as it stared at him with evil eyes.

Joey was very frightened by the spider when his Mom called him up the stairs. "It's time for bed Joey!"

He was terrified by the spider, so he climbed the stairs and went to sleep.

Joey woke up on Christmas morning and ran down stairs.

There was his present!

It was a puppy!
