Antigone tries to get her sister to help bury her brother against Creon's decree. Ismene refuses to go against the king's word.

(?) In Grecian times, man's law was not to be held above the Gods' laws. Also if a body is left unburied, it would be stuck between the world of the living and the world of the dead. So no body must be left without proper burial rights.

The sentry lost a bet so he was forced to go to Creon and tell him someone had buried Polyneicês. Creon tells him to find who did it or he will pay the price.

Antigone gets caught in the act it trying to bury Polyneicês again. The sentry bring her to Creon for questioning.
