Once, only very few animals were roaming the lands, but after a few years, people have made a new species called dogs. All dogs were descended and domesticated from an original ancestor; grey wolves. Gray wolves are found in Europe, Alaska, Canada and Asia.

During spring, this is the season where the female wolves give birth. The male and female will start making a den that is only for birthing or rearing the young ones. The den will most likely be near a river bank, on a hill or elevated areas. A week or two before birthing, the female wolf will stop hunting and will be spending her time near the den.

During summer, the wolf will have a summer coat instead of a heavy coat that they have during the winter. The pups will still be using the den and now the mother is hunting with the pack again. The pups will then be abandoning the den and go to the area where the pack hunts. They will also learn how to hunt with the pack. Most of their activities will take place during the night so they can avoid the heat during the day.

During fall, the wolves coat will start to become deep and dense. Wolf pups at this time know about snow instinctively, and when the snow comes, it'll be exuberant for them. The pack will now have to migrate with their prey so they can still have their food sources. Some wolves that are about 2 and a half years old may leave the old pack and find their mates, starting their own pack.

During winter, their coat will become 2 layers, nearly two and a half inches for each. Depending on the depth of the snow, the wolves will choose the easiest path to follow with the Alpha Wolf first, the rest will follow and the pups will go last. The wolves will most likely prey on the young, sick or older animals, however, many times the wolf being opportunistic, will hunt a strong, healthy animal.
