Once there was a duck named Darla and a frog named Freddie who lived together in a pond in the middle of a fantastic forest.

Darla was a daring duck who liked to swim and dive in the pond. She was very brave and would dive deeper than the any of the other ducks.

When Darla wasn’t swimming in the pond, she was watching the clouds with her friend Freddie. They would lie on the lily pads for hours and find shapes in the sky.

Hahaha

Freddie was the funniest frog in the pond.

He loved to tell jokes and make all of the animals in the pond laugh.

The pond was a safe and happy place for Darla and Freddie to live.

They loved to splish and splash all day long in the cool, blue water.

But one day, a rotten raccoon moved in not too far away.

Rusty the raccoon was very messy and liked to sleep all day.

He ate piles of pizza and drank all the soda he could find.

Rusty liked to take long walks around the pond at night, but he would always throw his trash in Darla and Freddie’s pond because he was too lazy to find a trash can.

In the morning, Darla and Freddie started noticing a few soda cans and pizza boxes in the water.

Then more...

And more...

After a while, the raccoon’s pile of trash was so BIG that Darla couldn’t dive in the pond anymore and Freddie couldn’t find his lily pads anywhere.

Eventually, Freddie and Darla got tired of the pile of trash and decided to talk to Rusty about it.
