Our story begins in 1943, when my great grandparents were taken from their home in Czechoslovakia to be placed into a labor camp in the holocaust.

When the holocaust ended in 1945 and my great grandparents were liberated, they traveled to Israel because they could not get into America at the time.

They stayed there for another 15 years and, and in 1951 great uncle was born, and my grandpa was born in 1953. It wasn't till he was 7 when they immigrated to America.

Although another war broke out in Israel called the Suez Crisis in 1956 and my great uncle who was only five was killed during the war.
