Once upon a time, there was a woman who was taking care of her garden, when suddenly she saw three old people, carrying the experience of life, approaching her at the house entrance. Even though they were strangers to her, she said:

- I don’t know you, but you must be hungry. Would you like to come in and have something to eat?

They ask her:

-   Is your husband at home?

-   No, he isn’t here, she replied.

-   Then, we can’t come in, the old people said.

As soon as the husband returned, his wife told him what had happened.

-   Let them come now that I am back.

The woman went out to invite the old people to dinner again, as they were still there.

-    We can’t come all together, they replied.

The woman, surprised, asked them why. The first one of the three introduced himself and started explaining.

-    I am Wealth, he said. This is Happiness and that is Love. Now, go to your husband and pick one of us to come and have dinner with you.

The woman went back and narrated to her husband what the old people had told her. The man got excited and said:

-   How lucky we are! Wealth should come. In that way, we’ll have everything we desire.

His wife, however, disagreed:

-   Why not have the pleasure of Happiness?
