One day a plastic bottle named Frederick starts his journey in a grocery store where he is bought by someone thirsty for water.
Frederick is carelessly thrown in the trash bin after he is empty.

The garbage man takes Frederick from the trash bin to the landfill.

Poor little Frederick is dumped out in the landfill with all the other trash.

Frederick is carried from the landfill by a strong wind and he ends up in a stream that takes him all the way to the ocean.

And poor Frederick then ends up in the ocean all by himself.

But not for long! Frightened Frederick is picked up by a strong ocean current. He gets caught in a powerful gyre and finds himself in a big island of trash in the middle of Pacific Ocean, far away from home and far away from his water bottle friends.
Look out! A very mean looking fish swims by the island and mistakes Frederick for some food.
