To Gabe and Sylvia, the best godparents in the world. I love you!
~Rebekah

It was a week before Christmas, and Virginia was neither happy nor glad, she wasn't even excited, if I might add.

She had everything she wanted, but she still wanted more. Her list was so long, that it went to the door.

She didn’t care about the boring Christmas dinners, the slow Christmas music, she even thought the caroling was a terrible nuisance.

Virgina’s cousin, who was in the Christmas play, came by to visit. She, on the other hand, happened to be filled with the Christmas spirit.

“Are you excited for the play”, Sylvia ecstatically uttered. “I get to play the role of Mary, Jesus’ mother.” “By no means at all”, Virgina replied. "Why do people get so excited over someone who died.”
“It’s so much more than that”, Slyvia noted, “It’s about how you and I were given the greatest gift ever granted. A long time ago because of sin, baby Jesus was born in a manger, in a town called Bethlehem.

God wanted us to be able to live with Him in paradise, so Jesus came down from heaven to be the ultimate sacrifice. You see, God loved you and I so much, that He sent His son to come on Earth and die for us.
Even though we all probably have very long Christmas lists, Jesus was the most important and ultimate gift. The same way God was merciful and gave Jesus to us, we’re also supposed to be selfless and give to others."
