Shoutout to my homedogs the Capulet Boys

The top of the ladder’s the tiniest of all
In Britain it’s clear that the top was quite small
Aristocrats are the group that sat up on top
The wealthiest people with land for their crop
Ranked just below in the social ladder
Were the middle class folks, whose stories are sadder
The middle class was split in three tiers
A truly diverse group with plenty to fear
The upper-middle class had a bit of spare cash
The factory owners had money to stash
The mid-middle class was not as well off
Less job security and a fear of layoff
The doctors and lawyers and things of the sort
Whose hard work and decent pay would never fall short
Just below them was the lower-middle class
Secretaries and clerks, who served the rich mass
Their conditions were hard and their pay was worse
But the conditions were better than the proletariat curse
The bottom of the pyramid, the worst of the worst
Ignored and forgotten, they were truly accursed
The proletariat was forced into low paid labor
Stabbed in the gut by capitalism’s sabre
Condemned to a dangerous life in the factory
The conditions and wages were not satisfactory
