It was the year 1,000,000,003...
Zeetlebet had taken his secondary sources out for a drive without asking
permission, and was flying aimlessly around the galaxy, looking for a way to
use them in his paper.
Before long, he chanced upon his friend, Professor Krgyzyyx (or "Conan")
Griffin. Well, he chanced upon the professor in Comp. class on Tuesday,
March 27-- a scheduled day of class.
"Chance" is a slippery thing sometimes.
"Hey Zeetlebet, when did you get your research-paper license? You haven't
turned 400 yet," said Krgyzyyx.
"You don't have to remind me," sad Zeetlebet.

MIND?

"Are you OUT OF YOUR MIND," said Krgyzyyx. "If our English faculty finds out..."
"They're on vacation in Thetislandia for the next week, so they're not going to find
out!" said Zeetlebet, as he revved the anti-gravitation thrusters. "You want to come
with me?"
"Dare I ask where you are going," said Krgyzyyx.
Zeetlebet just grinned a wide grin and pointed above him, in the direction of "Luna
7," the Works Cited page of his paper in which 3 articles were listed that Krgyzyyx
just knew Zeetlebet Luna had never read.
"Sheesh, am I going to regret this later?" asked Krgyzyyx.

And, so they flew, pockets full of sources, to the space station, and took a look at
"Luna 7."
"So, Zeetlebet, Professor Krgyzyyz Griffin said. "What is your process. If you
have to read an article for class, what do you do? What's your process?"
Zeetlebet pulled a few crumpled pages from the pockets of his space suit. "What
do you mean?"
"So, you found a good article. What do you do then?"
"Well, I evaluate author credibility," Zeetlebet, who always aimed to please,
responded.

Critical Reading:

2. Read:

Zeetlebet and Krgyzyyz went on this way for quite some time until at last
Zeetlebet laid out a semi-believable description of the process he used in
managing his sources.
"Take a seat, Zeetlebet," Krgyzyyz said. "You have much to learn."
And he marched through the process of Critical Reading for young Zeetlebet,
explaining how annotating in the margins can build to a strong annotated
bibliography.
He then drew for our young space-hero a diagram, mapping out the basic
structure of an annotated bibliography.
"Because," he explained, "my goal is to prepare you for earning your research-
paper license. As you know, the license is transferable, meaning you will be
qualified to write research-papers for science, psychology, and even history
papers about that long-lost species called "human."

Zeetlebet got up from his seat with his head spinning. His untouched sources
sat listlessly in his pocket. But, he had a plan for attacking them. . . he hoped.
"Thanks, Professor Krgyzyyz," Zeetlebet said. He opened the door to the space
station. . .
No sooner did he get a foot out the door, but he fell into a BLACK HOLE.
(Oh no!)

. . .It was the year 1,000,000,003.
Zeetlebet had taken his secondary sources out for a drive without asking
permission, and was flying aimlessly around the galaxy, looking for a
way to use them in his paper.
Before long, he chanced upon his friend, Jazzimimmy. Jazimmimy was
returning home to Futurclasslandia, a quasi-mythical planet.
"Hey Zeetlebet, when did you get your research-paper license? You
haven't turned 400 yet," said Jazzimimmy.
"You don't have to remind me," sad Zeetlebet.
