I bet you are also wondering if this product harms us. Well sadly is partly does. Kevlar never decomposes, so it can't be thrown away. Also, since Kevlar is made with sulphuric acid, if not disposed correctly, it can cause harm to plants and animals.

Kevlar does however have a great impact on the world and society. It saves lives, so those people who have been shot or stabbed don't die. Kevlar can also be used in a vest for the president for preventing assassination. The way kevlar is changed to make kevlar is that it is changed into a organic acid and then spread on the fibers of Kevlar. The way Hydrogen is used is that it is the rods ( Hydrogen bonds) that give kevlar it's extra strength. The way Nitrogen is used is that it is a chemical bond in it and adds strength, too.

The way that these resources are used in Kevlar does change my thinking about what I thought about Kevlar before. I used to think Kevlar was just really tight string weaved together, but now I know that Kevlar is made from Carbon acid, Hydrogen bonds, and Nitrogen bonds.
