Once upon a time, there was a little ladybird called Lucy.
Lucy was a very lovely ladybird, she had 5 black spots on her back.

One day, Lucy woke up to find all her spots had gone! ‘Oh no! I must have left my spots at my friends flower!’
Lucy set off to find her spots.

The first flower she visited, was Bert the Bumble Bee’s home.
‘Bertie bee, Bertie bee, can I come in?’

‘OF COURSE!’ answered the bee, with a big wide grin.
‘I’ve been waiting for you Lucy, you left behind a spot!’
‘Oh thank goodness that’s one, but that’s not the lot!’

The second flower she visited, was Sally the Spider’s home.
‘Sally spider, Sally spider, can I come in?’

‘OF COURSE!’ answered the spider, with a big wide grin.
‘I’ve been waiting for you Lucy, you left behind a spot!’
‘Oh thank goodness that’s two, but that’s not the lot!’

The third flower she visited, was William the worm’s home.
‘Willy worm, Willy worm, can I come in?’

‘OF COURSE!’ answered the worm with a big wide grin.
‘I’ve been waiting for you Lucy, you left behind a spot!’
‘Oh thank goodness that’s three, but that’s not the lot!’
