 Arthur is 9 and he likes color green very much. For that reason, he likes vegetables very much, too.His mother always tells him that: if you eat vegetables, you will grow healthy.

One day, he eats a carrot and his eyes see better. One day, he eats spinach and feels very powerful. One day, he eats brocoli and feels more healthy.

Arthur is also a very imaginative boy. He has many imaginary friends. One of them is Baby Brocoli. He is happy with Baby Brocoli. They go to the school together. They go shopping together. They do everything together.

However, one day something happens and everything changes.

The baby brocoli grows and has new friends.  Baby brocoli changes in a day.Arthur is shocked.He gets upset because his best friend has other close friends. Anymore it isn't a baby brocoli but a huge brocoli.

Brocoli's all friends say hello to Arthur but he is disappointed. He wants Baby Brocoli not others.

Huge brocoli leaves Arthur and finds new friends. They listen to music and enjoy. They dance. Arthur is alone anymore. But he decides to have new friends.

One day he visits his uncle Tom. His uncle is a farmer and he has a lot of animals in his farm. They are goats, ducks, rabbits, hens horses , dogs etc.He loves animals and animals love him, too.

Uncle Tom,I don't have frıends.

Arthur:"Uncle Tom, I don't have friends."

Tom: "Don't worry Arthur,animals can be your friends.You can enjoy yourself here.Let's see and know them better.

Arthur begins to watch animals closely and says" hello!" to them.He hears their sounds.They also say "hello!" in their own languages.Hens say" chick chick".Horse says "neigh neigh".Sheep shouts "baa baa" and the pigs "oink oink".Arthur laughs and imitates their sounds joyfully.

Uncle Tom comes to feed animals. Arthur wants to help him.He asks:"Can I help you?".Uncle Tom says "of course". Arthur feeds them.

He gives hay to cows, horses, donkeys and pigs.He feeds rabbits with carrots and lettuce.He gives seeds to hens and sees pretty chicks,too.He takes a chick on his hand.He loves it and plays with it.

The mother hen sees its chick in Arthur's hand and begins to peck him.Arthur runs fast.The hen follows him.

HELP!

He skips the farm fence and falls down. His leg hurts a lot.He cries.His uncle hears him and comes.Arthur tells him about the hen.

hah hah haa!

Uncle Tom laughs a lot.He takes the chick back to mother hen.Arthur and Uncle Tom go home and have a rest.They sing the song "Old McDonald" together.

Next day, Arthur misses his family and says "goodbye" to Uncle Tom.He leaves the farm and goes back home.His parents, his sister, brother , grandparents ,cousins and all his relatives are at home. He is very happy to see all his family again.They have a surprise for him.
