The Precambrian eon was the time before the Cambrian eon. The Precambrian era took up 87% of Earth's history. It is made up of 3 parts or eras: Hadean-which was the hell-like era. Archean- ancient and Proterozoic- which was first life.

This era was the formation of the planet. The sun was 70% brighter and there were lots of volcano eruptions. There was no life at this time.

Phanerozoic eon

The Phanerozoic eon started 570 million years ago. It is made up of 3 parts or eras: Paleozoic- ancient life, Mesozoic- middle life, Cenozoic- recent life. This eon has the most diverse species of land and ocean organisms.

at the beginning of this era there was an explosion of invertebrate animals. In the middle of the era vertebrates and amphibians evolved. At the end of the era the biggest mass extinction of all time occurred, it wiped out 96% of all life.

Mesozoic era

At the beginning of this era Pangaea started breaking up. In the middle of the era, all of the present day contents began to move apart from Pangaea. At the end of this era the most famous extinction of all time occurred, the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Cenozoic era

in the beginning of this era mammals emerged. In the middle the flowering plants become common. At the end of this era was the ice age.
