In south Africa there lived a rhino named Tom, he was a very strong and intelligent rhino.

All the animals in Africa knew him and they always came to him if they were in any kind of trouble.

One day a monkey named Miguel went to pick out bananas from a tree, but he slipped and got his leg caught between the branches.

His monkey friends tried to help him but couldn't get him out, so they called Tom to help them.

when Tom arrived at the place, he took a quick glance and said to the monkeys ... " Smear banana on Miguel's foot until it's slippery, then you can slide his foot out of the branch,".

 The monkeys did what they were told and managed to rescue Miguel. Tom was very pleased that he had saved one of his friends once again with his intelligence. All the animals were lucky to have a friend as wise as Tom.

But Tom had a big problem he did not like to get any help from anyone, because he thought that asking for help was a sign of weakness.

"And Tom was the strongest rhino in all Africa",

in his opinion.

All the rhinos had a close relationship with the birds. the birds helped the rhinos by picking out bugs from their backs and also warning them when there was danger coming their way.

The rhinos helped the birds by protecting them from predators and providing them with bugs to eat.

One day a bird named Justin approached Tom and said, "Can I stand on your back to scare away insects and keep your back clean?"

Tom replied,

"no thanks I'm Good."

But as time went by Tom had more and more dirt and insects on his back.

All the other rhinos looked at him and wondered "why doesn't Tom get help from the birds? he looks very dirty and uncomfortable with all that filth he has on his back. "
