A journey Through the universe

Zane best
Welcome aboard the ship! Today we will visit those places you see in the night sky. Those twinkling stars are massive and are part of galaxies with billions of other stars. However, these stars are only a small portion of the universe!
Before we get started, let's think about where the universe came from. There are many possible ways, right? Well the Big Bang is what most scientists think created the universe. It was a huge explosion which the universe expanded out from. Scientists like this theory because of 3 things. Galaxies are slowly moving apart, which points to the universe increasing in size. Energy waves are still left in the universe, probably from the bang, and the rate at which other galaxies are moving away from us all point to this theory. Now let's get out to the stars!

Now our journey starts! Do you see those bright spheres? Well they are what stars look like up close! There are billions of these stars in our own galaxy, and there are many galaxies! These stars are formed by mass collecting in the dense areas of the universe, and they are powered by hydrogen fusion. Fusion is when atoms combine to form energy. Now let's travel to one of these stars and get a closer look!
