Coding education for the development of 21st century skills has recently been reduced to primary school curriculum. It is now considered a must to study new generation basic coding. "The Coding Workshop" eTwinning project is designed to give coding training to the children who are at the level of preschool and primary school considering that everybody who lives in the age of technology and information needs to learn the basics of this work. This book is dedicated to our first collective work on EUROPE CODE WEEK 2018.

OUR CODEWEEK ACTIVITIES PLAN
8th October
We will make a pattern (5-7 age: easy / 8-11 age: difficult)
9th October
we will prepare the algorithm to explain how the paper is formed (5-8 age : with cards, 9-11 age : by encoding)
10th October
we will prepare the algorithm to explain how the plant is formed (5-8 age : with cards, 9-11 age : by encoding)
11th October
we will prepare the algorithm to explain how the butterfly is formed (5-8 age : with cards, 9-11 age : by encoding)
12th October
we will create the algorithm of any problem; for example : such as non-working lamp or corrupted computer or dirty laundry
15th October
we will create an algorithm for collecting numbers or mixing of colors
16th October
we will do the work concerning directions (forward, backward, down, up)
17th October
we will create simple shapes by coding one or two frames
18th October
We will create more complex shapes in coding paper
19th October
We will have live interview with all partners
On the 1st day we made a pattern

on the 2nd day we prepared the algorithm
to explain how the paper is formed

on the 3rd day we prepared the algorithm
to explain how the plant is formed

on the 4th day we prepared the algorithm
to explain how the butterfly is formed

on the 5th day we created the algorithms of some problems, such as dirty laundry, brushing teeth, wearing shoes, cleaning hands, and others.

on the 6th day we created algorithms for collecting numbers or mixing of colors
