The news I received today was unbelievable! June 28th, 1919, The treaty of Versailles was signed. It caused Germany , a lot of stress. The Allied Powers took away a lot of things from Germany as a whole. The Treaty of Versailles- ended the state of war between Germany and the allied powers.. I'm sorry love have to go! Someone is coming and I'm not supposed to be writing!

I'm sorry it took so long, but, I'm finally back. It seems like you've got it ruff down there. How have you've been? I don't know when the next time we'll see each other; but i really miss you. The news told us that we have to give Germany a $33 million loan. I'm not really sure what's going on.. Please be safe and do whats right. I don't won't you in no trouble. I'm glad you wrote me back! I was worried for a minute; I thought my letter didn't get sent. Over the pass few days we've gotten another update on the Versailles . It been 4 year since I have wrote you. Germany is experiencing hyperinflation (traumatic event). The cost of living in my country has risen a bunch. It cost me 2.5 million marks to buy a loaf of bread. I don't think ill last here any longer. The value of money is low and people like me is going broke and homeless.

I miss you even more...! We the help of the American loans our economy has gotten a lot better. The cost of prices have went down. We are going through a good time, better then before. It would be such a delight if i could see you face to face and hear your voice.

Sorry it took me 5 year to write you back . I couldn't afford any ink or paper with the depression we are experiencing . With the failing of the American stock market the whole world is going through a horrible time. Many people are going homeless over here in the United States. I know Germany has it just as rough but how are you all?

Germany is going through the Great depression too. Paper is expensive over here. I don't know how long Ima be able to keep writing back because I'm running out of paper and short on money. Also after losing the world there is a lot of humiliation over here and us men voting population have went down and women voting population has risen. Then that's leading to gender and generational problems. Everything's just all bad over in Germany. Hopefully you are doing better then me .
