It was one of Alice's first Chirstmas and this year she was going to get a tree.

Alice was so excited to get a tree. She couldn't wait till her mom and her go pick a tree and decorate it. She could already imagine it.

Today was December 20th, just 5 days until Christmas. Alice was so excited she couldn't wait.

Her happiness soon went down when her mother came to her later that day saying they don't have enough money to get her a tree.

Alice was devastated. She couldn't believe what her mom had told her.

Alice stayed in her room the rest of the day, upset over the tree.

December 23. Two days before Christmas. Alice still stayed in her room. Losing all hope of ever getting a tree.

Alice opened her window and looked outside, she saw something she couldn't believe.

It was a Christmas tree. I wasn't big it was just small.
