Jan lives on a farm with her parents in Michigan.

Spot was a stray that followed Jan home from school one day. She begged her mom to keep him. Jan's mom said she can only keep him if she takes good care of him.

Jan and Spot have been best friends ever since.

Jan's family just recently moved to Michigan and she did not have any new friends yet.

Spot came into Jan's life when she really needed a friend.

Jan and Spot spent all their time together.

The two went on many fun, different adventures together.

But the best times Jan and Spot spent together was just sitting under the night sky staring at the night stars.

Recently Spot seemed to be getting older, a little slower, and eating less and less.

Jan's mom took Spot to the Vet. The Vet tells Jan's mom that Spot will not have a long time left.

Spot will not be going back home tonight.
