
Multiple Sclerosis can affect the brain, spinal chord and the eyes.

Multiple Sclerosis or MS can affect many parts of the body. When those areas are afflicted the body reacts with symptoms. MS symptoms can include; Vision loss, pain, fatigue, impaired coordination. However, symptoms vary from person to person. Most people can live symptom free most of their life and some can live in chronic pain.

Back and eye pain, tremors, cramping, difficulty walking, inability to change motion, involuntary movements, muscle paralysis, muscle weakness, stiff muscles, clumsiness, muscle spasms, overactive reactions, whole body fatigue, heat intolerance, vertigo, poor balance, pins and needles, abnormal taste, reduced touch sensations, uncomfortable tingling and burning, excessive urination, leaking of urine, urinary retention, blurred vision, double vision, vision loss, constipation, depression, difficulty swallowing, difficulty thinking and understanding, flare-ups, headache, heavy legs, numbness in face, involuntary eye movement, sleep deprivation, mouth numbness , weakness, difficulty raising feet.

There is no full way to treat MS yet. However, there are options that can limit symptoms and stop progression.


Chemotherapy and radiation can help with the excessive cell growth in the brain that builds lesions and nerve blockers. Exercise can help with the flexibility. Anti-inflammatory, immune system suppression drugs and steroids.

If the disease is left untreated then there can be a rapid increase in symptoms and severity of pain.


The quality of life for the individual varies between person to person. One person may have limited symptoms and a great quality life or the opposite.
