How can I run for President, Mr. Obama?

Well lad, most to be a presidential candidate, you should have a platform, money, team, and followers, for starters.

Well where do I start?

You should start 2-4 years before the election. This way you can gain a following, meet people, travel, and get your name out to the public.

Will it cost money?

Oh boy, running for Presidency is quite expensive. You must be able to travel, hire a team to help you, and of course, nice suits. This money can come from personal funds, selling merchandise, and donations from supporters.

Why so much?

Well, in order to reach over 300 million people and try to convince them to vote for you across a massive country is quite difficult. This involves giving out merchandise and a mantra so the people will remember you.

How should I organize my campaign?

It would be wise to have a team of managers assisting you. They will help with your public reputation, fundraising, traveling, and speeches. There are different approaches to this, and nobody has ever successfully won alone.

Are there any strategies to elections?

Why of course! Most go off of fear and hope. For example, my election instilled hope and promise in the people, promising a bright future if they elected me. Others portray a terrible future, leading to the country's demise if they are not elected.
