Story 1 Hello, my name is Maren J. The J. stands for Jessup. Except I don't like Jessup. Just call me Maren J. Okay? Today my mom said tomorrow is the first day of school, this is what I said back to her "I hate school." Okay, okay, said my mom. Today was the first day of school. How was your day at school? my mom asked. "Nothing could be worse"!!!! I screamed.

Story 2 I was trying to do the homework my teacher gave me, and my brother came over and started laughing and chanting because his teacher did not give out homework. And I said, go away. Okay! He yelled back. Shh! said my mom. Mom can I go to Reese's house? I asked my mom, No. she said, please? I asked. No means no. she said.

Story 3 This is my journal. I like my journal. In fact, I love it, too. I like to write in it, and sometimes draw. I'm glad I have this journal. I like to do pictures the most, because I'm very good at them. I like drawing people the most. Also, I like drawing Christmas trees, because they are fun to draw. I love my journal very much. I just can't get over it.

Story 4 This is Gracie. Gracie is my best friend. She said she is big and strong. I am big and strong too, I said. No you are not! said Gracie.

PS. I don't even like her.

story 5This is my class. (ME and my class are singing.) and we are singing a song called "I WANT TO BE an elf." (la la LA LA LA LA.)
