Dedicated to Mrs. Carver

There was once a pesky little virus named Carlos floating all throughout the air, he needed a place to stay, so he found a girl named Olivia. It wasn't easy though, her skin was very thick and oily.

Olivia had put her hand on a railing and Carlos latched onto her. She didn't know it, but Carlos the virus made her very ill. She began to throw up, she caught a fever, and her head always seemed to ache.

Olivia's leukocytes tried hard to fight Carlos. They fought day and night for almost a week. Finally, Olivia had enough. She got up and drove to the doctor.

The doctor told Olivia she had contracted a viral infection. Shocked, she asked what she could possibly do to get better. The doctor gave her an antibiotic to help her immune system fight Carlos.

As soon as Olivia returned home, she took the medicine. Carlos began to get smaller and smaller and weaker. The leukocytes were finally winning the fight! Olivia began to feel better. With the help of the T-cells, the immune system pulled through.

Carlos was weak and barely hanging on. He eventually was reduced to nothing. Olivia was able to go back to work and feel happy again, all thanks to her immune system!

Carlos' cousin tried to latch onto Olivia, but since she had been taking her antibiotics, he couldn't. Olivia was happy and healthy.

After this, Olivia continued her life and always went to the doctor when she was feeling sick. Carlos taught her and her body a valuable lesson.
