There once was a small drop of water who dreamed of becoming a snowflake. She wanted to turn the land white.

There was a drought which evaporated the small drop, from the lake where she lived. She reached the sky and became part of a small cloud.

Soon the weather turned cold, the small drop looked for a bit of land to turn white. Only a little bit of snow fell and as soon as it hit the ground it melted.

There she stayed until the suns rays came out to send her back up up up in the clouds. This happened several more times.

Finally, the small drop joined a great big cloud. There were millions of small drops all joined together. The small drop was very uncomfortable in the great big cloud. A few of the drops were ordering everyone around "Big drops on bottom, small drops on top"

The small drop was not happy about all of this. She considered falling again, but a friendly drop talked her out of it.

Seeing how surprised the small drop was the friendly drop explained.

All of us love being snow, and covering the land for days. That is why we have all gathered her together. The small drop thought she could do it on her own, but she learned that she couldn't do it without help. With cooperation we've made some of the best snowfalls.

A little while later, as both drops became snowflakes they were flying down to cover the land with snow..
