This book is about Lee and his life experiences.
He is from China. He lived with his mother, father, grandparents, and uncle.
He is tall, strong, handsome, intelligent, kind, and friendly.
Lee is very proud of China because it is a beautiful country. For example, The Great Wall of China is one of the most visit tourist places in the world. In 1987 it was named one of the greatest wonders of the world, by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO.

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortification systems generally built across the historical northern borders of China. The system was created to protect Chinese territory. Many years ago, China was often attacked by groups from other countries that wanted to steal its abundant treasures.

Lee moved to New York in May 2017.
He is a new student in New York Central high school.
Lee likes his new school. It is big, beautiful, and modern.
New York is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
In New York, you can have much fun. You can dance, walk, or enjoy the afternoon eating an ice-cream.



On his first day of school, Lee was happy, excited, and nervous.
He was concerned because he didn't speak English very well.
In the classroom, Lee was sad because he did not know what to do in the school. Fortunately, his sadness disappears when he realized that his teacher and classmates were willing to help him.
The teacher and students were fun and friendly. They made Lee happy.



New York is a beautiful state, but its weather changes very quickly. One day, after school, the weather went wild. In an instant, the sky went very dark. It started lightning and raining heavily.
On that day, the weather was the worst ever. The sky was covered with clouds, thunder, and lightning, and rain.
Lee thought:
"What can I do? I didn't bring an umbrella today! also, my mom and dad forgot to pick me up!"
Lee is distraught.

Lee was very concerned. He was hungry and tired. He just wanted to go home.
He thought:
"I will have to wait until the rain passes to go home."
He was about to cry when Jem his new friend appeared.
"Hey, Lee, what are you doing now? "
Jem says.
"I am waiting for the rain to pass. I forgot my umbrella, and my parents forgot me."
Lee said.




"Oh, that's bad! Do you need help?"
Jem asked.
"Yes, I want to go home. Please, you not to worry about me. I will wait until the rain passes. "
Lee responded.
"I will help you. I have a new umbrella. Please take it!"
Jem said.
"Oh, thank you, Jem."
Lee responded.
"You are welcome. Friends are to help each other. "
Jem said.
Now, Lee is walking home. He is happy because he had an umbrella.
