KASTAMONU

Pınarbaşı Canyon,other name is Valla Canyon is in Azdavay , Kastamonu. The canyon is between eight hundred and one thousand two hundred meters tall. It has got high rocky mountains . It's depth is eight hundred meters .It is the second deepest canyon in the world . You can do different extreme sports in there, for example parachuting or rafting.

Kastamonu's history goes back to eight hundred years ago. Kastamonu has got six Islamic-Ottoman social complexes and a lot of mosques. You can easily see Ottoman and Seljuq cutures on the arhitecture.

Kastamonu's Garlic is very popular all around the Turkey. It's hometown is Taşköprü,Kastamonu.It is a beautiful gift.Garlic festivals take place every year .

Kastamonu's Cekme Helva is very famous all around the world. it is very delicious it is an Ottoman taste, different countries buy Cekme helva from Turkey. Local and foreign tourists like so much. It is prepared in the social complex.
