Once upon a time in a kingdom far far away, there lived a boy named Thomas. Thomas loved to learn new things in many different subjects, but his favorite was chemistry. His dream is to one day be a chemist for a famous company far far away from this lonely kingdom.

One day, Thomas and his animal friends were walking through the forest when they stumbled upon a scary dragon! Everyone started running away, but Thomas wasn't scared. Thomas wanted to become friends the dragon so he went up to it and asked "What is your name?" The dragon responded with "My name is Carlos and I didn't mean to scare you guys!"

Thomas found out that Carlos really wanted to learn something new so Thomas said "I love chemistry! I could teach you about different bonds and cool structures!" Thomas then found out that Carlos's favorite subject was also chemistry!

Thomas and Carlos talked in a valley for hours on end. The First thing Thomas taught Carlos was about Lewis Structures. Thomas said to Carlos "Lewis Structures show the valence electrons of atoms and bonds between them can be represented as a line connecting them. Each line represents two electrons."
