"It takes ten months for a tuffula seed to germinate...it takes ten more years for the seed to sprout," the Lorax said, "It's been awhile since I've seen a truffula tree. All I can see now are the fields of coffee and tea. If someone replaced all the trees, they should be grown by now, at least past the knees."

"It's been 100 years since I've been to that place where the the truffula trees flourished; the sewing mackackins weren't the only things they nourished."

The barbaloots miss it too, and the swomee swans, and the hummingfish, and the cutie poo-poohs. "I smell some hope in the air, do you think we should go and see if it has changed there?" asked the Lorax.

"Well, let's travel there, we don't have much to lose, all that is here are a few brown trees shaped like shoes." So they went on their way, looking for the place that was their home one day.

When they got to the place that was dead and dreary when they left, they were surprised when they saw a place that looked like it had never experienced theft (of its resources).

"The seed was planted! I knew someone would care, they planted the seed, they cleaned the air!"

Who did this? I need to know. Who saved this place from the Onceler's damaging blow?
