To Franz Ferdinand
R.I.P My Man
On June 28th, 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand was with his wife when they were both shot by a handgun and ended up dying very soon after. Now, Austria-Hungary wasn't having any of that, so they gave Serbia a list of demands (for it was a Serbian who killed him), but the country of Serbia failed to meet them, which was a problem.
Austria-Hungary then declared war on the country of Serbia, which was an even bigger domino in this chain reaction. Because Russia was an ally of Serbia, they decided to help out in the war. Well... Germany didn't like that since they were allies of Austria-Hungary, so they declared war on Russia. After that, all hell broke loose.
Now, Russia, Serbia, Austria-Hungary, and Germany were going at it in all out warfare. Enough people were dying without anything else happening. Honestly, it could of ended up being a smaller war between Serbia and Austria-Hungary, but it ended up growing and becoming way bigger. But, new countries weren't done becoming involved yet, and guess who's fault it was for making it bigger. That's right, Germany.
