Evie and The Butterfly Guide

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Evie.

She was your average eight year old.

She was playful, curious, and kind.

One day, when Evie was playing in her back yard, she saw a butterfly.

She was curious, and decided to follow the butterfly.

The butterfly flew over the fence and into Evie's neighbors yard, and Evie climbed over the fence and followed the butterfly.

The butterfly flew into the forest and over a log, Evie followed into the forest and over the log.

The butterfly flew around a tree and down hill. Evie followed around the tree and down the hill.

The butterfly flew over the river. Evie tried to jump over the river to follow the butterfly, but the river was just a tiny bit to wide, and Evie fell in.

The butterfly, who didn't know Evie was following it, turned around and was shocked to see a little girl struggling to stay afloat in the river.

"Oh no!" said the butterfly, "Let me help you."

"I appreciate the offer, but how could you help me? You are just one little butterfly." said Evie.

"You're right. Alone, there isn't much I can do." said the butterfly.

"Then how are you going to help me?" Evie asked.

"Wait right here," said the butterfly, "I have an idea"

The butterfly flew back into the forest.

A few minutes later, the butterfly came back with a whole bunch of butterflies!

"If we work together, we can do anything!" said the butterfly.
