Everyone has differences that makes them the unique person that they are. I may have black hair and you may have purple hair these differences make us unique. We all have things that are unique about us for example your friends will have different foods that they like that are not the same as you. Your mother may be short and your dad may be tall. Along with our outward differences we have a diversity in culture that defines how we were raised, where we are from, what we believe and what we value as important. What is Culture ?

Culture can be described as a way of life that tells a story about each individual. How they were raised, what their beliefs are, what are their values and what makes them different from other people or cultures. Culture tells about a persons language and how they speak. Did you know there are many languages? What language do you speak? English, Spanish, Japaneese, or Hebrew.

Muslims are a very modest and religious people. The Muslim women believe in dressing modestly and wearing clothes that cover their whole body and a headscarf over their face. The Muslims also believe that god is Allah in their language. The Muslims face a lot of adversity because of how their women dress so modestly. Here is America although it is the land of the free if you dress with a hijab on your face and fully clothed going into a store well you might be classified as suspicious or a thief. This is just one of the differences that can cause a division when the respect for another persons culture and beliefs are not valued.
