Aria's favorite season is summer. She loves the warm weather!

Before leaving the house, Aria asks her mother, "how hot is it outside?"

Why don't I check the thermometer?" suggests her mother.

"What's a thermometer?" asks Aria.

"A thermometer is a tool to measure how hot or cold something is," replies her mother.

"It looks like it's pretty hot outside. Make Sure to wear less layers."

Aria goes to the beach where the weather feels hot on her skin.

In the month of December, Aria plays outside in the snow.

The temperature has dropped and Aria must wear extra layers.

After playing in the snow, Aria washes her hands and they feel warm.

"Mom how come my hands are warm but I feel cold?" Aria asks.
