Sandwiches with bacon have always reminded her of that gross restaurant where the incident happened. Everything happened one beautiful day when Chloe and Stuart decided to explore the nearby forest. The journey took longer than they thought. After two hours of walking, they got hungry, so Chloe opened her backpack and she realized she had forgotten their snack. 

Chloe told Stuart about it self-consciously. She was afraid that he would get angry with her but, surprisingly, like a true gentleman, he took his opportunity and invited her to some restaurant. The more luxurious, the better.

So Stuart took his smart phone and started searching the nearest restaurant, bar or something like that. Finally he found a restaurant called 'At Three Pines'. So he announced her solemnly that he found the source of food. She smiled at him and they set out on a journey hand in hand.

At first sight it seemed a normal restaurant, but as soon as they set foot in that place they found out that it was old inside. It was full of spider webs but there was something strange, the table was prepared with two bacon sandwiches on two plates, like they were made just for them.

Chloe and Stuart called for someone but nobody answered so they ate the delicious sandwiches because they were really hungry.

When they finished they left everything there and walked to the door, but when they tried to open it, they realised it had been locked. It was strange, they thought, so they turned around and scanned the local for another way out.

All windows were locked and there seemed to be no other doors, so they made another escape plan. They found at the end of the corridor, next to some stairs, an empty room with no furniture, and all of a sudden the door behind them closed.

The longer the teens were trapped there, the more they wanted to escape. There seemed to be nothing that could help them to dig a hole and as the restaurant was so far away from the city nobody could hear them shout.

After an hour they gave up searching and shouting. Exhausted and desperate, they leaned on the wall. Suddenly, the wall gave way beneath their weight and a secret room appeared. The game between them and the house seemed a never ending story.

The teens couldn’t understand what was happening but all they wanted was to get out of there. The only thing they realised was that to avoid death, they had to be smart.

Right before they were about to restart their search, a movie started playing on the front wall of the room.

It showed a really fancy restaurant, with lots of teenagers hanging out and the waitresses moving from one table to another serving food and drinks. It seemed a really happy place where everybody would like to have dinner or just spend time with friends and family. But suddenly, the decor changed.

A picture of the town’s newspaper showed a published article explaining the secret of their most requested dish. It was made with dead bodies from those whom had disappeared.

Since then, the restaurant had closed, and many rumors were spread downtown about stories of people who had gone in that building but never regressed.

When the movie stopped playing they realised that they had to leave or they would soon become the meat of those sandwiches.
